About Project's Activities
Project management
The project management activity will oversee the entire project cycle (M1-M18), ensuring efficient planning, implementation, and monitoring. It involves appointing communication officers, using digital platforms for ongoing communication, and holding regular meetings. The coordinator will ensure compliance with EU regulations and manage official documents. Tasks include coordinating the partnership, assigning responsibilities, preparing for transnational meetings, and coordinating with stakeholders. The activity will help project participants, especially newcomers, gain skills in project management, communication, and decision-making, ensuring smooth collaboration and successful completion of the project objectives.
Youth Empowerment Handbook: Digital Literacy & Active Citizenship
The activity focuses on developing a handbook to promote digital literacy, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship among young people in the EU. This resource will provide youth workers, educators, and professionals with practical tools to enhance these skills. It aims to help young people navigate the digital world, foster intercultural dialogue, and encourage active participation in society. The handbook will include methods for non-formal and informal learning, raising awareness about the benefits of EU mobility programs and European values like inclusion and equality. By empowering youth workers and young people, the activity will support the development of engaged, responsible citizens. It will also contribute to a more cohesive, interconnected EU community. The handbook will be a valuable tool for organizations working with youth, fostering creativity and innovation. Through this activity, we aim to create a ripple effect of positive change within local communities and networks.
Youth Educational Workshop on intercultural communication
This five-day workshop focuses on enhancing intercultural communication skills. It will cover topics like understanding cultural differences, effective communication strategies, active listening, and addressing biases. Participants, including youth workers and local stakeholders, will engage in interactive activities such as role-playing and group discussions. The workshop aims to improve communication skills, promote respect, and break stereotypes. It targets youth workers from partner organizations and local authorities in Greece. By the end, participants will be better equipped to communicate across cultures, fostering greater understanding and inclusivity. The activity directly supports the DIGI-UNITY project by empowering young people to become active and engaged citizens.
Youth Training Seminar on Digital Literacy, digital divide and equal access
The Youth Training Seminar on Digital Literacy will explore the digital divide and its impact on active citizenship. It will focus on promoting digital inclusion, discussing innovative approaches to bridging gaps in digital access. Participants, including 8 youth workers from partner organizations, will engage in interactive sessions and discussions. Topics will include best practices for digital inclusion, the role of technology in active citizenship, and policy solutions for equitable access. By the end, participants will gain practical skills to promote digital literacy in their communities, fostering active citizenship and European values. The training aims to empower youth workers to address digital exclusion and promote inclusivity.
Youth Training Seminar on Social Inclusion, active citizenship and democratic participation
The Youth Training Seminar on Social Inclusion, Active Citizenship, and Democratic Participation will address barriers marginalized communities face in engaging with democratic processes. The seminar will cover topics like the impact of social exclusion on active citizenship, innovative strategies for fostering inclusion, and the role of education in promoting democratic participation. Participants, 8 youth workers from partner organizations, will engage in discussions and workshops to explore practical solutions for social inclusion. The seminar aims to empower participants to combat social exclusion and promote democratic engagement, benefiting both their personal growth and their communities by fostering a more inclusive and active society.
Informational Material and Dissemination
The Informational Material and Dissemination activity aims to inform and engage key stakeholders about the project’s objectives, actions, and expected outcomes. It targets youth workers, volunteers, associated partners, and young people with fewer opportunities, particularly from rural areas, minorities, and marginalized groups. Promotional materials like tailored videos will be created to present the project’s impact and encourage continued support. The dissemination effort will raise awareness, build advocacy, and extend the project’s influence, strengthening partnerships and facilitating future social change. It also aims to highlight the support of the Erasmus+ Programme and enhance the visibility of the partner organizations involved.
Project’s Meetings
The Kick-off Meeting in Greece and the Final Assessment Meeting in Romania are key moments in the project’s timeline. The Kick-off Meeting will set the stage for collaboration, where partners will define roles, responsibilities, and project timelines, and align on key strategies. The Final Assessment Meeting will evaluate the project’s progress, review feedback, address any challenges, and plan for sustainability and post-project activities. Both meetings are essential for ensuring smooth project execution and making necessary adjustments based on ongoing evaluation.
